The Prenatal & Postnatal yoga classes are held in a smaller setting than a regular class. In this way, mum-to-be and new mums get a more personalised class that focuses on effective alignment and adjustments.

The Prenatal classes/ Birth Preparation course and Postnatal course are recognised by the health insurance, so you may be eligible to receive part of the cost back from your insurer (Krankenkasse Annerkant).*

About Prenatal Yoga

The practice is carefully tailored for your time as a mother-to-be. The intention is to support your pregnancy, preparing you for giving birth, to accept the natural changes, to trust, be confident and have resilience.
In this class, we will be focusing on conscious breathing, stretching, strengthening the back and legs, releasing tension and relaxing. Prenatal yoga gives expecting mothers different tools which they can access when they need them the most.

About Postnatal Yoga

The Postnatal course is in a smaller setting than a regular class, it is a semi-private group with a maximum of 9 participants. In this way, mums and babies have space to be comfortable and receive a more personalised class that focuses on effective alignment and adjustments to ease postnatal recovery.

The key for postnatal recovery is consistency, but we understand that planning with small babies is not always easy, so it is possible to book each session separately.

• Each class will take place with a minimum of 3 participants.
• Please book with a minimum of 24 hours before the class starts.
• Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the class starts.

BABIES ARE MOST WELCOME! Postnatal Yoga offers support on a physical level, helping your body to recover and regain strength after birth in the pelvic floor region, abdominal wall and back. It helps to release the neck, shoulders and upper back. On a mental level, postnatal yoga helps you to relax and feel more grounded. Group classes also provide an opportunity to meet other mums and create a community.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STUDIO ACCESS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGE PUSHCHAIRS (there is a narrow staircase and no lift. However, if you have a smaller stroller or collapsable one, this can easily be brought inside).

Looking for a Birth Preparation Course?

Good news: I do a few closed group courses throughout the year.

This weekly 5 part (ca. 6 hours) course is held in a closed group and has a smaller setting than a regular class, making it semi-private. We take a maximum of 8 participants, so mums-to-be have space to be comfortable and safe, while receiving more personlised instruction in a cosy environment.

Giving birth is a personal experience. It is so important to observe your reaction to intense sensations and emotions, so that at the given moment you can choose the best way for you to respond to the intensity of birth. We will explore birthing positions, movements, breathing, and other preparation techniques. These tools will help you to release tension and create physical and mental space, so the arrival of your little one is the result of your amazing capacity to create life, your determination, and an open mindset. You will learn to trust and accept the process, while seeing your power as a woman. This course will share practical information about practices and techniques you can use during labour. It is recommended for mothers-to-be who are 30 weeks pregnant and onwards. The 5 week course will take place with a minimum of 3 participants. As it is a closed course, if you miss a class, it is not possible to re-schedule the missed session. If you book the course and it does not take place, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellations of this course can be made at the latest 72 hours before the first class.

Private Birth preparation Course

Book a private session for you and the person who will support you during labor. We will try out birthing positions, movements, breathing and other techniques to release tension and create physical and mental space, so the arrival of your little one is the result of your amazing capacity to create life, your determination and an open mind set, trust and acceptance of the process, a celebration of your own power as a woman.
